So much of Columbus's charm lives in homes built generations ago: brick cottages, Victorians, foursquares, and doubles. I know what makes them special, and what to look for before you buy or sell one.
- What to check. Original electrical and plumbing, sewer lines, foundations and basement moisture, roofs, and windows. I'll help you know which questions to ask your inspector.
- Historic district rules. In areas like German Village, exterior changes need approval first. I'll explain what that means for your plans.
- Seeing the potential. With a love of interior design and hands-on renovation experience from my own properties, I can help you picture what an older home could become, and what it might cost.
